The Billy Project is a funded gym project aimed at women aged 16+.
The project offers free gym sessions to women between 11am–4pm, Monday-Wednesdays. Members referred to us initially have a full gym induction on how to use the equipment safely, health and safety in the gym and receive a gym programme to follow which is suited to their individual needs and abilities. We also monitor weight and measurements if requested.
The Billy project Juniors is funded and for girls aged 11-18 (up to 21 for disabilities)
The Billy Project Juniors tackles loneliness, social isolation, integration, inactivity, mental health issues, obesity, promotes female empowerment, protects young women through safeguarding, provides a safe space to meet new friends and offer emotional support through exercise. The Billy Project Juniors is a safe space to come to not only exercise but talk, offload and receive much needed emotional support from supportive gym members, staff and friends.
The Billy Project Online is free to access for all members of the project.
Packed with home workouts suitable for all abilities, the online group is perfect for those who cant always make it to the gym and nutritional advice for every day, busy women.
